PERFECTION OF LOVE

In an imperfect world that we live

Seeking within our imperfection

An attitude, a way towards perfection

Like a mighty tree tired of the earth

Seeking at all times to touch the skies

We seek happiness and joy

Laughter, bliss and sweet dreams

We seek the perfection of love

In many attempts, falling in love

Broken-hearted and falling out of love

A day without is filled with sorrow

Pains, misery and agony

Our haunting attempts thrown in our face

And we feel tragedy, suicidal

Losing all hope

Many fell into false face of love

Hoping someday to set right all the wrongs

We gain a little and lose much

Celebrating inwardly at no extra cost

Till, upon our face, luck shines its light

So, I strove the years n yearning for love

Many times broken-hearted and torn into bits

By these many lady-love bent on seeking material excess

Till upon my face, luck shone her bright light

Into the dim darkness of my life

And you came along, seeking none-else

Other than myself, simply asking for my hand

And taking on in this journey through your life
